Welcome to the Council of Parishes site!

This site supports the work of the Council of Parishes, a project seeking to keep open sixty-plus churches slated for closure under what we think is an ill-advised and unnecessary reorganization of the Diocese of Camden.

This is a social networking website. We are modeling openness and transparency. "Members" of this site are not necessarily formal members of the Council of Parishes and not all opinions on this site are opinions of the Council (we also don't control the content of the ads on the right sidebar). We ask that users of the site be respectful of the Council's work even if they disagree with its goals or methods and we reserve the right to remove users.
