I read the Traditio website article. The one thing that was incorrect was when the writer stated that SVP was closed. SVP has not been closed yet and it has not yet been merged with St. Al's Parish. However, the merger process has begun because SVP…

St. Vincent Pallotti Church lost their first appeal to the Vatican and are asking a higher Vatican group to review the decision. However, SVP is also taking their battle to civil court: http://www.courierpostonline.com/article/20100128/NEWS01/12803

I was so sorry to hear that Bob has passed away. He was a hard worker and truly a blessing for both his church and for the Council of Parishes. I pray that he receives every blessing in heaven and I wish to express my sympathy to his family.

First of all, I truly hope that the priest who hurt you has been brought to justice. These incidents of sexual abuse have violated the trust between the priests and the laity. Parents can no longer feel comfortable leaving their children alone with…

Tara, I will pray for you because your pain and anger are justified. Many years ago, a priest from my parish was found guilty of sexual molestation and it shocked and saddened our community. I believe that many people have left the Church because of…

A priest and nuns are spouses to the Catholic Church. Isn't the Camden Diocese part of the Catholic Church anymore. They take vows and nuns even wear wedding dresses when they take vows.

It seems that the Catholic Church in the diocese of Camden is divorcing its spouses and neglecting us children>>>>

Thank you kathleen. I grew up in Barrington and made most of my sacraments there too. I went to CCD at St. Francis de Sales (patron St of writers and journalist.) Most likely Camden Diocese had no intentions to keep it open anyway. No one in Barrington can afford the high taxes plus the extremely high tuition..

Make sure that you have a formal appeal ready. Also, discuss in your appeal how the diocese is persecuting the good holy Sisters at St. Francis de Sales. I thought that our House of Charity was supposed to take care of the sisters after their many years of dedicated service.

If you notice, the diocese is closing down anything that is really traditional Catholic. He is replacing our holy nuns, priests and others with liberal lukewarms...

I now have to go to Barrington to get copies of my records...

The Camden Diocese bought $800,000 horse farm and mansion and other properties shore homes, etc, meals at Mansion in Voorhees etc. but he can't take care of our loyal Catholic priests and nuns who dedicated their whole life to God, Our Blessed Mother, the Catholic Church and us, the people.

Kathleen,
I grew up in Barrington. I went to CCD and made my sacraments there. My parents are still there. My maiden name is Rossiter. Also, my niece Melody Funkhouser is a alterserver at St Francis de Sales.

I have to go up there soon because I think there is a Mass being said for my brother in law (Father John Byrnes.
