Now the Council of Parishes Resources tab mentioned in the prior blog post is available for everyone to view. I had it configured incorrectly - oops! Also private Groups may now be set up to facilitate public or private (depending on who you allow to access) communications within parish level groups or other sub-groups of the Council of Parishes.

Our website has recently been updated with two new features. First, information on how to oppose your parish merger, along with sample letters and appeals, are available under the Resources tab. You can consider it our little "Anti-Merger Manual." This section will be expanded as time permits.

Second, there is a new tab for Videos, where you can see the latest videos related to church closings, including last night's ABC News coverage of the Boston vigils, now well into their fourth year.

First, I apologize for not having spent much time updating this website. We have been very busy with many activities - everything from picketing the Bishop to reviewing strategies going forward. One of the things we have spent a lot of time doing lately, with very good results, is meeting with groups from parishes that would like to get organized to oppose the merger of their parish.
