Many suspect the luxury home was bought "at a bargain price" as yet another undisclosed real estate transaction involving Bishop Galante but was re-purposed after the Bishop's role in the "Vati-Con Scandal" made front-page news. The real estate developer in that case is now serving time in federal prison after being convicted in an elaborate scheme to buy Catholic Church properties for bargain prices.
