I will be glad to work with you and the Council of Parishes of Southern N.J. I will be asking other church council members to join. The church belongs to us and our children, not the Diocese nor the Vatican.
Well, the end of summer approaches and the rumors have begun to surface again. They are not pretty and are unofficial. Is is permissable to use this site to promote our church fundraising events? Perhaps we could support each other's activities in this way.

I am concerned about the amount of misinformation or lack of response to the rumor mill at parishes. I have aways believed that people who are properly informed are the most supportive. This has not been the case! We should not be expected to fund illogical ideas when the solutions are within our parishes. Let's remember, it was a previous bishop who decided upon the great expansion of the 60's which led to the half-empty churches of today! Our families paid then and now we are expected to uproot ourselves and pay again. What has happened to the spirituality and unity our parishes have given us? Remember the program "Renew?" It promoted parishes as an expansion of our neighborhoods. I feel that it added to my devotion of my Lord and my church. It added a commitment and willingness to serve. I really do not take joy in spewing venom, but what is happening here is simply wrong! Power, greed and politics have superceded Faith, Love and Devotion.
